Xbox Alpha build
Building an Xbox Alpha pc is done before, and its not that hard after all.
You are only very limited in wich parts you can use. You need specific hardware and the software will only run with the correct setup and settings.
So ill just post wich parts I got with a few images allong (ill add more details later so you can try matching them againtst your parts)
There are cool projects going on to make a XBox run in an Qemu and Cxbx is already doing an awesome job emulating a few more games and applictation these days, even the Sega Chihiro Arcade system :D .
I builded my system because of, well,.. Because I can, and its a fun thing to build a pc with a specific purpose in mind :P
These parts are needed at a minimum to run in the 3251 Recovery disk.

- Intel VC820 Motherboard (Ebay, Germany),(Euro 24)
- 128Mb Ram (with terminator)I actualy got 2, 128mb and 2 terminators so 1 set for 5.75? (Tweakers.net sale, NL)(Euro 11,50)
- CPU INTEL P3 SLOT 1 733MHz CPU SL3XN 133MHz 256KB 1.65V , (Ebay UK)(GBP 6,98 ~ Euro 8.50)
- 64MB AGP Dell 3J562 nVidia Geforce3 NV20 DVI / VGA Graphics Card (Ebay UK)(GBP12.99 ~ Euro 15,81)
- Some IDE and power cables, Powersuppply (free from leftover PC, 25 ?)
- Screen, secondhand, free (25 euro and you have a nice flatscreen one secondhand)
- Harddrive (SDK says minimal 20GB, IDE) 80Gb free harddrive (5 euro secondhand?)
Still to Arrive, 2 port USb card :
Belkin F5005 2-Port USB PCI Adapter Card with a OPTI 82C861 Chipset (Get a OPTO 82C861 card), £10,98(13.37 Euro)
And I realy like to have a Controller working (Hammerhead) or hack some files or xbox controller to be accepted. (saw one for 30 USD but US only)

LPC1114 and Arduinos are in ! AcerApsire one D255 Naked !
I had to wait for 4 weeks, 2 weeks till "shiped" and 2 weeks for them to be delivered. My arduino Mini and Arduino Mega from Dealextreme came in and I needed to test one Plox :D
I never had a change of testing my LEDmatrix so I directly started mapping the pinout and getting the source from Darkbit (originaly from Xander).
And it works :P The first thing I thought about writing to it was that of my hearth. so, anyway I also got a Serial adapter with it and recieved my LPC1114 DevBoard from CHina (Ebay) some pictures after the break. Also I Posted some pictures of my net book naked :P lol. Have fun.

Storeupdate and Xbox Fun
Dumping the contents of 7 xbox's to my HDD as a backup. Available soon. (Image unrelated actually.)
Im going to change the name of the dump to "KernelPaniQ's Store"
New items added like a few broken game controlers for the Playstation, 3 Playstation's and a broken Super NES or SNES. Also I like to inform some of you: 4 new blank PIC18F4550 for sale. Limited time offer, just 5 euro each.
Soon I catogorise 52 Broken or partly broken gamecontrolers and start price will be 3 euro each.
GC,SNES,PS/PS2 and N64.
Also Ive tested a few Xbox controlers, lot of them have caibration errors or digital sticks stuck at a value. Ill start selling those after tests for about 4 euro. They are USB controlers, drivers everywhere and internal USB Hub, so you can read/write Xbox memory cards. Controlers that work will be €5 but no breakaway. If you want a breakaway I need to find a suplier.
See you next time, I will have download goodies for the xbox and selling more products like a LCD screen(broken?) a dev board from Sony(unkown product) and a few discrete components.

Its been a looong time... store is a bit deserted, I asume not many people took a look at it and/or wanted to buy anything. So Im gonna sell stuff a bit later, I got this Devkit you see above last year and im playing with it. ive some project's running and im planning on posting updates on Assemblergames and here. FB an tweets are still comming, but this website is going to get some new features like comments and maybe a forum. Noo, not another random forum... true, so only a small one, and ill see what you guys post. For most game and hardware I hope you already know the Assemblergames website and Hackaday. Day 0 - Prep and flight
Today is a great day for the kingdom of Nico,
Because I will move today toward China :D. Packing all clothes and electronics I really want to have when im there and even packed some clothes to trow away on my way back.
Anyway, this is a small post before my flight, I ofcourse will post alott more and more pictures when im there, but for now youll have to do it with this.
I will miss my Girlfriend, parents and sister, but especialy my GF, she will hopefully arrive in time to say goodbye.
