PC, Comadore, MSX and more Universal Interface cards
I happen to found what a random card for my msx is, its a Uniface card. The control card. Now take a look at the url, its somewhat dutch and english, but its pretty awesome. Maybe I want it for my N8vem SBC aswell. Anyway, its a IO card with makes an universal pinout and protocol.

N8vem

The N8VEM Single Board Computer (SBC) is a home brew Z80 small computer project. It is made in the style of vintage computers of the mid to late 1970's and early 1980's using a mix of classic and modern technologies.

It is intended to be my teaching in principles of electronic computer design. The N8VEM SBC and related peripherals would be ideal as a school project or could be used to teach basic computer hardware and software principles. i enjoyed already building it and as you can read, im writing bits of pieces about it already.

More information about it can be found here http://n8vem-sbc.pbworks.com

My version runs a bit of custom version of cp-m and Im building a vga controler based on the 16F4550 chip.

Xbox1Last night I received a package from England. It contained a Black Xbox one console and an AV cable. Litle bit dirty and a few pieces of plastic broken on the underside of the xbox, and a jamming DVD tray. Sold as "Microsoft Xbox (8 GB) Black Video Game Console FAULTY

This for a FAULTY black xbox video game console

The console was working up till about 6 months ago but suddenly stopped it will power up but the disc tray will not open

I would say that this is simple fault and could be easily fixed by someone who knows what they are doing

I just do not have the time to start messing with it"

Read more about me and failing math.

Easter is just over for like 2 days and I can tell you:

Its awesome to get home and receive allot of packages at once and stuff you got just before you left.
I dont tell all the stories but to keep it simple. 2 oldskool pc's from a friend of mine (x486 series) a keyboard and a NXP LPCXpresso protoboard for free. few lcd screens 24 x 2 character dot displays and a Sound recorder board for a few euro's from my favorite store Baco.

Also I got a few packages that I got from on-line stores, a few Zilog IO chips (not in the main picture) and a Xbox one (1.4 or 1.5)Virgin. after the read-more some detailed pictures so you can get some data-sheets or whatever. btw, those LCDs? they have some more left for 2,5 euro;s and 16x2 for 3,5 wich are also on-line. If you visit them in Ijmuiden you also can buy a red LED matrix board with 20x100 LEDs or something 3,5 euros but water damage.

So, go take a look. anyway, I'm back programming that Arduino project with 45 buttons. Ill post pictures and sourcecode of that soon.
