Russian Tube clock

Have been working on my first clock , made with a retro Russian display tube!
Its not from our friend lady ada, and I actualy liked her design a bit better. anyway, I wanted to make a cool casing then, so here are the pictures or it dint happen. I do have some pictures of the clockbuild it self, will post them if I have the time.

 

First of al I did some drawing and other thinking work. Actualy I just started and worked everything from 1 paper, everything else was done in cpu/head.

To make a casing, I did make some drawings

And the parts where free, from our local "Bos" hardwarestore.

 

Now I got some parts to make a box, Nice ! now where to put those buttons ?

 

Did you now I got the Windows from Xenos very cheap ? all other electronic parts where from Dijkenelectronica or Baco-army-goods. The VFD clock itself from a online Ebay seller, very cheap, should look up the price.

Nice switch, now I need to make the connectors themselfes.

After the paintjob using black paint and placing the parts on the right place it looks like this.

Now what do we do with that phone ?, was cheap, second hand... and its WORKS !
